A community-based volunteer ambulance service, based in East Midwood, serving Brooklyn's neighborhoods.
East Midwood Volunteer Ambulance Corps is an all-volunteer emergency medical service proudly serving Brooklyn since 1984. For over four decades, our dedicated members have answered the call, providing emergency medical care to the communities we serve.
Volunteer EMTs and paramedics responding to medical emergencies across Brooklyn.
Proudly participating in New York City’s 911 emergency medical response system, responding alongside FDNY EMS and other participating ambulance services to provide emergency medical care throughout Brooklyn.
Operated entirely by dedicated volunteers, we also provide mutual aid to neighboring emergency medical services when needed.
As an all-volunteer ambulance service, we rely on the generosity of our community to keep our ambulances equipped, maintained, and ready to respond. Your support helps us continue providing emergency medical care to those who need it.
